Prioritizing Mental Health at Vets Pets
May is Mental Health Month — a time to focus on well-being and encourage open conversations about mental health. At Vets Pets, we know the important role mental health plays in every part of life, both personally and professionally. We also recognize the unique challenges caregivers face and believe everyone deserves support.
We are proud to foster a workplace culture where honest conversations about mental health are welcomed, and where resources are readily available to help you and your family thrive.
Here’s a reminder of the mental health support available to you:
-
Spring Health: All medically enrolled employees and their household family members now have access to Spring Health at no cost. This comprehensive mental health solution offers personalized care, a dedicated Care Navigator, and six free therapy sessions plus six free coaching sessions each year. Learn more at vetspets.springhealth.com or download the Spring Health mobile app.
-
HealthAdvocate EAP: For those who waive Vets Pets health plans or work part-time, confidential support remains available through our Employee Assistance Program. HealthAdvocate offers 24/7 access to behavioral health experts and up to three free sessions per person, per issue, each year. Visit healthadvocate.com/members or download the HealthAdvocate mobile app to get started.
This month — and every month — your mental health matters.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing a review each week from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Jeffer and the team at Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital. Well done!
“I found a new veterinary home with Cornwallis Road! The staff and Dr Jeffer were all excellent! I left with a great treatment plan and the fees are reasonable as well! Thanks to them for a wonderful experience!”
