Emergency Veterinarian Immersion Program
Have you ever thought about emergency medicine? Does it intrigue you but maybe intimidate you at the same time? Are you about to graduate and are unsure if you are ready for ER? Is GP medicine just not doing it for you anymore and you want more of a balance? Have you been in big corporate and want more flexibility and increased financial compensation?
The Vets Pets Emergency Veterinary Immersion Program will help you develop the necessary skills to be a successful small animal emergency clinician. Working with mentorship at any of our five North Carolina Emergency/Specialty hospitals, you will gain the experience to feel confident with your skills and treatment planning. A base salary will be provided along with a full benefits package. After four to six months, the right candidate will have the option to work independently for a production bonus while continuing to have structured mentorship and even surgical backup.
With rotations in After-Hours Emergency, 24-Hour Emergency-Critical Care, Specialty Surgery, and Ultrasound Referral Service, you will gain exposure to complicated cases and busy caseloads under the guidance of experienced emergency veterinarians, a boarded criticalist, and veterinary surgeons.
