BINGO! A Winning Lunch for Wake Vet!

Learning comes with its perks! As part of a recent CareCredit training, team members across Vets Pets practices had the opportunity to participate in a fun BINGO competition, with the chance to win lunch for their entire team.

Congratulations to Tamryn Coots from the Surgical Department at Wake Veterinary Medical Center, who was our lucky winner!

This week, the Wake Vet team enjoyed lunch together to celebrate Tamryn’s win.

A big thank-you to Tamryn for bringing home the win, to the Wake Vet team for participating, and to CareCredit for making learning a little more fun (and delicious)!

A Heartfelt Learning Experience at Ravenscroft!

Last week, Carrie Fellows, MVCC, RVT, represented Vets Pets at The Great Heart Fair at Ravenscroft in Raleigh, where she spent time with fourth-grade students exploring the fascinating world of animal hearts!

We love seeing our team members share their knowledge and passion for veterinary medicine with the next generation of curious minds!

A big thank-you to Carrie for representing Vets Pets and to Ravenscroft for inviting us to be part of this fun educational experience!

Celebrating the Next Generation of Veterinary Technicians!

In celebration of Veterinary Technician Week, Vets Pets shared a little extra appreciation with students enrolled in veterinary technician programs at community colleges across North Carolina!

Our team members delivered special treats and gifts to recognize these future veterinary professionals and the hard work they are putting into their education and careers.

The students were excited about the surprises and grateful for the recognition. Syra, president of the Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA), shared her appreciation, saying, “They loved it! Amazing, thank you again!”

We love encouraging the next generation of veterinary technicians and celebrating their future in veterinary medicine!

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Atkinson and the team at Wilson Veterinary Hospital. Well done!

“Took in two of my cats. A new kitten and a 9-year-old.  Dr. Atkinson was thorough, nice, educated, and informative. Pictured is baby Tipsie after check up and shot.“
