Purr-fect Pace Challenge: That’s a Wrap!
During the past month, our teams have walked, run, hiked and biked their way through the challenge, logging miles, pushing personal goals and having a little friendly competition along the way.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made time to get moving. Every mile counted, and now it is time to celebrate our winners!

Vets Pets Day: What to Expect
Vets Pets Day is almost here! Join us October 3 from noon to 5:00 PM at Haven Farm in Knightdale for an afternoon of food, games, entertainment and time together. We are set to have a great day, rain or shine. There will be lots of indoor and outdoor activities.
Haven’t RSVP’d yet? It’s not too late.
When You Arrive
Park in the designated event parking (P1) or overflow area (P2), then head to the Vets Pets Day registration tables (R) under the pavilion. We will get you checked in, wristbanded and ready for the day.
Eat, Drink & Enjoy
Come hungry! Choose lunch from Bill’s Grill, The Greek Goat or Tacos Mama Chava, then save room for fair-inspired treats from Magnificent Concessions and Sunset Slush. Adult guests will also receive two beverage tickets to use at the bars. If you intend to partake, please bring your ID.
Come Ready to Play
Take on the mechanical bull, challenge your crew to carnival-style inflatable games, or jump into cornhole, Giant Connect 4, ring toss and Giant Jenga. There will also be a bounce house, balloon twisting and face painting for our younger guests. We will also have sports streaming in the Barn so you don’t miss out on all the wins.
Bring Your People and Pets
Immediate family members, pups and plus-ones are welcome. All guests will check in under the name of their Vets Pets team member.
Most importantly, come ready to relax, have some fun and spend time with the people who make Vets Pets what it is.

Hillsborough, NC: Pawfect Match Rescue and Rehabilitation Adoption Event
We love seeing teams out in the communities we serve!
Recently, Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital had a great time supporting Pawfect Match Rescue and Rehabilitation at an adoption event hosted by Bella Trio Salon & Spa. It was an afternoon filled with connection and the opportunity to help some very deserving dogs get one step closer to finding their forever homes.
Another opportunity to make a difference for pets and the people who love them.
Companion Pharmacy, Hayes Barton Pharmacy, and Vets Pets are partnering to provide flu shots at no cost to Vets Pets employees at practices across the state.
Please register in advance using the link below. If you have health insurance, we will file the flu shot with your insurance company at no out-of-pocket cost to you. If you do not have insurance, Vets Pets will cover the cost.
Registration is required by noon the day before your scheduled clinic. If no employees are registered for a practice by the deadline, the flu shot clinic at that location will be canceled.
What You’ll Need
If you have insurance, please provide a copy of the front and back of your insurance card. You can either:
- Upload a copy when completing the registration form.
- Bring your insurance card with you on the day of your flu shot.
