From hospital milestones to community events, here is a look at what has been happening across Vets Pets.

It’s Time To Check Your Benefit Details

In our transition to the new 401k platform at Principal, beneficiaries did not automatically come over.  We wanted to let you know that you still need to log into Principal to get your beneficiary in place.  Click the button below to review the flyer information on this as well as a QR code that takes you to where you can name the beneficiary.

Also, Reminder: Please log in Paylocity and check/update personal information such as address, marital status and tax setup/withholding for Federal and State taxes. It is a good idea to look at your tax setup annually to make sure the information in our payroll system is accurate for your situation.

Louisburg Veterinary Hospital Connects with the Community at Friday Night on Tar

The team at Louisburg Veterinary Hospital recently connected with the community by participating in Friday Night on Tar for the very first time.

The event was a wonderful opportunity to meet local families, introduce the hospital to new faces, and share the compassionate care that has become the hallmark of Louisburg Veterinary Hospital. Throughout the evening, team members enjoyed conversations with pet owners, answered questions, and made meaningful connections with community members.

Their first community event was a great success, and the team is excited to welcome several new clients they met during the event.

Congratulations to the Louisburg team on a successful debut at Friday Night on Tar.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Dixon and the team at LaCroix Veterinary Hospital. Well done!

Moved my 6yr old pittie mix to LaCroix from another vet in Wilmington, because they constantly pushed antibiotics versus looking for a root cause. The office staff were prompt, got us in quickly for our first visit, super friendly check in service, comfortable office (no scary vet vibes or scent), and they have a great texting/post visit process where they update you about your pet, check in to see progress, and are able to help with prescriptions or questions.

We saw Dr. Dixon, and she took her time with Piper, never rushed the visit and wanted to know her full background. I also mentioned the antibiotic woes at old vets and she fully supported not immediately going down that route. She was gentle, caring, and gave good recommendations, without trying to upsell anything, and cared about cost savings.
