Welcoming Our New Graduates

Vets Pets recently welcomed five early-career veterinarians during our New Doctor and Intern Orientation Session.

Joining the Vets Pets Internship Program are Dr. Jamela Bazil, Dr. Juliette Daddario, and Dr. Ariana King. We also welcomed Lauren Hirsch, DVM who will practice at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital, and SarahAnne Dawson, DVM, who will join Wendell Animal Hospital through our New Graduate Mentorship Program.

During orientation, the doctors learned about Vets Pets resources and culture, and began building relationships that will support their professional growth. Both programs are designed to help early-career veterinarians develop clinical confidence, strengthen their skills, and successfully transition into practice.

Please join us in welcoming these talented doctors to the Vets Pets family.

Zebulon Animal Hospital – A New Home for a Trusted Team

For years, Zebulon Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of the community, caring for pets and their families with compassion and expertise.

On May 30, 2026, the team celebrated the grand opening of a new facility just a few blocks from their longtime location. While the building is new, the familiar faces and trusted care clients know and love remain the same.

Designed to support a growing community, the expanded hospital offers upgraded spaces and enhanced resources that will help the team continue providing exceptional veterinary care for years to come.

We are proud to celebrate this exciting milestone and look forward to the future of Zebulon Animal Hospital in its new home.

Prescribe Smarter: Evidence-Based Antimicrobial Stewardship

This one-hour virtual CE session challenges the prescribing assumptions that drive antibiotic overuse in veterinary practice, examining what the evidence actually says about drug selection, treatment duration, and when antibiotics are warranted at all. Practitioners will leave with a more defensible, evidence-aligned approach to everyday prescribing decisions.

Summer Is in Full Swing For Vets Pets Teams

As the days get longer and temperatures rise, summer is heating up across the Vets Pets system. From wellness visits and surgeries to emergency care, boarding, grooming, and everything in between, our teams are hard at work and busy in their communities.

Along the way, there is still time for connection, celebration, and a few moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We wanted to share a few snapshots from around North Carolina and give you a glimpse into the teams, patients, and communities that make Vets Pets such a special place.

Points East Veterinary Group Team Night at the Ballpark

On May 17, 2026, Points East teams and their families enjoyed an evening together cheering on the Warbirds at their new ballpark.

Opportunities to connect outside of work help strengthen the relationships that make our teams so special. Whether serving patients in the hospital or spending time together in the community, we are grateful for the people who make Vets Pets a great place to work.

Meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and a shared passion for veterinary medicine.

We were grateful to connect with veterinary professionals, students, technicians, and industry partners from across the state at the NCVMA Summer Conference 2026.

Events like this remind us of the value of lifelong learning, collaboration, and the relationships that strengthen our profession. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with our team. We always enjoy the opportunity to learn, share ideas, and support the veterinary community we are proud to be part of.

We are already looking forward to next year.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing a reviews from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

This week’s review acknowledges the team at Rolesville Veterinary Hospital. Well done!

“I would like to share our wonderful experience with Roseville Veterinary Hospital. Although we had always seen it nearby, it wasn’t until an emergency that we decided to bring our dog, who suffers from seizures.

From the very first moment, we received exceptional care. The entire team—from the front desk staff to the nurses and the doctor—has been incredibly kind, professional, and compassionate. They made us feel supported during a very stressful time.

Their prices are also very reasonable, which we truly appreciate, especially considering the high quality of care they provide. Medications are always available on time, and the follow-up care for our dog has been consistent and attentive, helping improve his quality of life.

We are so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and caring place close to home. We highly recommend them for their excellent service, dedication, and the genuine care they show to both pets and their families.”
