Raleigh, NC (January 14, 2019)Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital is celebrating the recent opening of its first location in the Longview neighborhood of Raleigh with a fun community event from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26. Pet owners in attendance will receive one free veterinary exam that can be redeemed on a later date at Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Longview, which is located at 2116-F New Bern Avenue, in the Longview Shopping Center next to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

The Grand Opening will include tours of the new hospital, caricatures by Bruce Stevenson, an adoption event featuring dogs from the SPCA of Wake County, complimentary drinks from Trophy Brewing Co. and Whiskey Kitchen, a raffle with prizes from BurgerFi and ThunderWorks® to benefit the SPCA of Wake County and appetizers for attendees. Guests are encouraged to bring their dogs if they’re comfortable with other pets in public. Additionally, the neighboring Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is offering discounted tickets for $8 for a special screening of the movie “Best in Show” with $3 of the ticket sales benefitting the SPCA of Wake County.
