Raleigh, NC (June 5, 2019)Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital invites local pet parents and their well-socialized and dog-friendly pups to celebrate the official start of summer – and the recent opening of its second location in the Dixie Trail neighborhood of Raleigh – at their summer block “pawty” celebration on Saturday, June 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The community event will include guided tours of the hospital, a dog-friendly photo booth and keepsake photos from Classic Carolinas Photobooths, Inc., complimentary food and beverages from Uninhibited Tapas Bar, as well as special treats that attendees can purchase for their dogs from Just 4 Dogs Mobile Dog Treats. Pet guests will also enjoy a bacon-flavored bubble machine, dog pools, a ball pit and a voucher for one free veterinary exam.

“We are excited to expand our locations in Raleigh with our newest hospital that will offer personalized customer service, comprehensive medical care and advanced technology to the Dixie Trail community,” said George Ghneim, DVM, PhD. “Dr. Virginia Brown has been an essential part of the pet community in this neighborhood for decades, and we look forward to providing first-rate care for many years to come as part of the Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital family.”

Prior to the start of renovations last December, the hospital was home to Dixie Trail Animal Clinic. It was acquired by Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital in 2018 and reopened on June 3 as Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Dixie Trail. During the remodeling, Dr. Brown and her staff treated patients at Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Longview, which opened its doors in December 2018 in the Longview Shopping Center next to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Its Grand Opening celebration in January 2019 attracted around 150 pet owners from the Longview neighborhood and surrounding areas.

Existing and new clients will enjoy an updated hospital featuring a stylish and modern interior. They will also benefit from high-quality services and amenities such as comprehensive medical care, state-of-the-art diagnostic services and advanced technologies. As part of its first-rate customer service approach, Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital also guarantees that each pet will have one-on-one attention from a veterinary technician or assistant on staff throughout each step of the visit. The team at the Dixie Trail location includes three veterinarians, Drs. Ghneim, Brown and Rochte.
