As we look back on this year, we’re filled with appreciation for the people who make our work meaningful — our teams, our partners, and our family. Your commitment to care makes a real difference for pets and the people who love them. This season reminds us how much your work matters and how thankful we are for each of you. Wishing you and your loved ones a season filled with peace, good health, and moments that bring you joy.

Congratulations, Kieran Malli, RVT!

We are excited to celebrate a major milestone for Kieran Malli, who is now officially a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Points East Veterinary Hospital Emergency Hospital of Fayetteville.

Kieran’s journey with us began on April 15, 2022, when he joined the team as a Technician Assistant while attending CCCC in Sanford. Balancing school and hands-on hospital work, Kieran consistently demonstrated dedication, curiosity, and a strong commitment to patient care. He began training as a Veterinary Assistant in February 2025, continued to build his clinical skills, and successfully passed the VTNE in September, followed by the North Carolina state boards in November.

Now officially an RVT, Kieran’s growth is a testament to his perseverance and passion for veterinary medicine. Outside of the hospital, he is known for his love of his cats, anime, and K-pop, which adds to the personality and positivity he brings to our team.

Please join us in congratulating Kieran on this incredible achievement.

2025 Holiday Parades

Wilson Veterinary Hospital

December 8th, the team at Wilson Veterinary Hospital got out in the community spreading holiday cheer at the Wilson parade! From a crowd-favorite Grinch to Marla the dog stealing hearts, the team brought fun, energy, and festive spirit to everyone who came out to celebrate.

A big thank-you to the Wilson Veterinary Hospital team for taking their hospital out of their building and into the community.

Haw River Animal Hospital

On December 14, Haw River Animal Hospital participated in the Pittsboro Holiday Parade. Even with the chilly weather, the team had a wonderful time celebrating the season and connecting with the community.

We love seeing our hospitals show up locally, share their spirit, and be part of what makes their towns special. Thank you to the Haw River Animal Hospital team for spreading holiday cheer in Pittsboro!

Knightdale Animal Hospital

Knightdale Animal Hospital also participated in the Knightdale Holiday Parade on December 14, sharing festive spirit and connecting with members of their community.

We love seeing our hospitals show up in meaningful ways and celebrate alongside the neighborhoods they serve. Thank you to the Knightdale Animal Hospital team for spreading holiday cheer throughout Knightdale!

Rolesville Veterinary Hospital

On December 7, the team from Rolesville Veterinary Hospital joined the Rolesville Holiday Parade, sharing festive cheer with the community and their local clients. They were so caught up in the fun and connection that they forgot to snap a parade photo.

Thank you to the Rolesville Veterinary Hospital team for showing up, spreading joy, and representing compassionate care in the heart of the community.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing reviews from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

This week’s review acknowledges the team at Holly Ridge Veterinary Hospital. Well done!

“We came here when my senior Boston Terrier got extremely ill and was on the verge of passing away. He was severely lethargic, was having trouble breathing, and had refused to eat or drink on his own for weeks. [Another veterinary hospital]’s solution was to shrug shoulders at me (literally) and say “well we don’t know what’s going on, so keep trying to feed him and bring him back in 3-4 weeks”. If I had taken their advice, he wouldn’t be here now. I immediately called Holly Ridge Veterinary Hospital right after that appointment and they listened to what was going on and got us in that day. They were able to do extensive testing, and the whole staff was really caring. We got a better picture of what was going on with him, and got started on a treatment plan. By the time we got home, he was already coming back to life. Today, he is back to his old self, demanding treats and taking up space in our beds. I just know that all of my pets will be coming here from now on. We feel validated, and I feel my pets will be getting the best care here. We are so thankful for the extra quality time we have with him!
