Welcome to the Vets Pets Weekly Update!

We’re excited to bring you the latest news, updates, and stories from across our North Carolina veterinary practices. Each week, we’ll share important announcements, highlight achievements, and sprinkle some fun along the way.

Your work makes a difference every day, and we want to celebrate you. If you have news or stories to share, please let us know by responding to any of these emails or reaching out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

During Vet Tech Week, we honor and thank the veterinary professionals who make a difference in the lives of both animals and people. We are proud of your compassion, skill, and resilience and deeply grateful for the heart and hard work you bring to your roles.

So snuggle up and feel the love! Thank you for all you do.

Dear Team,

We are blown away by the incredible ways our practices, team members, and community continue to step up. We have been carefully considering how Vets Pets and our practices can contribute meaningfully. We are excited to announce a $20,000 donation to the Friends of NCVMA Disaster Relief Fund.

We have chosen the Friends of NCVMA Disaster Relief Fund because, like us, they are deeply rooted in North Carolina and committed to long-term efforts. This decision was made with your support and the belief that these funds will directly benefit animals, team members, and veterinarians within our state. Contributing to this fund will be part of our ongoing dedication to supporting the veterinary community.

For those looking for additional ways to help, local organizations like the SPCA of Wake County are working with displaced pets from Western North Carolina and would greatly appreciate your skills and support.

In addition to all those impacted in WNC, our thoughts are also with everyone in Florida impacted by Hurricane Milton, especially following so closely after the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

Thank you all for your continued support. Together, we are North Carolina strong.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing a review each week from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.

This week’s review acknowledges the team at Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Person Street. Well done!

Even though I live in Cary now, I choose to drive 25 min to this vet. They are personable, very good with my dog and they are very understanding about my being a person with an autoimmune disability by masking in the exam room when my dog is treated. They are also forbearing that being someone who is disabled and who lives with CPTSD, going to the vet is not easy for me or my dog. This means the world to me. This facility is always pristine and Captain (see pic) says they have the best treats 🙂
