From hospital milestones to community events, here is a look at what has been happening across Vets Pets.
This week, we celebrate the incredible veterinary professionals who bring their skill, compassion, and dedication to caring for pets and the people who love them.
Behind every patient is a team of dedicated professionals who show up every day with an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care. From the joyful moments to the difficult ones, you give so much of yourselves to the patients, clients, and teammates who count on you.
Thank you for all you do, not only during Vet Tech Week, but every day.
Happy Vet Tech Week!
Rain or Shine, Vets Pets Day Was a Blast!
A little rain could not dampen the fun at Vets Pets Day 2026! Despite the wet weather, our teams and their families came together for a day filled with laughter, games, great food, and plenty of dancing in the rain. The DJ kept the music going all afternoon, umbrellas became the accessory of the day, and the fun never stopped!
Thank you to everyone who braved the weather and helped make this year’s celebration one to remember. It is always a great day when our Vets Pets family comes together!
Relive the fun! Take a look at the photos from Vets Pets Day and see some of our favorite moments from the celebration.

ADHD in Veterinary Practice: Structure and Support to Unleash the Superpower
ADHD is diagnosed in 1 in every 10-20 children and 4% of adults. However, underdiagnosis in girls and women is documented, suggested prevalence is higher.
Moreover, the fast-paced, stimulating environment of a veterinary hospital may attract individuals with ADHD – whether diagnosed or not. Yet the demands of such environment may, in turn, create challenges that are exacerbated by executive dysfunction and, in turn, may increase propensity to burnout.
Veterinary hospitals strive to deliver excellent patient care, but often fail to recognize opportunities to set up an environment that supports team members to thrive. For neurodivergent team members, particularly those with ADHD, structure, accountability, and
empathy may be the difference in delivering excellent patient and client care and burning out.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
This week’s review acknowledges the team at Zebulon Animal Hospital. Well done!
“Everything about this office is top notch. The techs are so kind and genuinely love their job and you can tell. I so very much appreciate Dr. Edwards dedication to figuring out my dog and Cat’s plethora of symptoms and getting them the solutions and care that they need.“
