Welcome to the Vets Pets Weekly Update!
We’re excited to bring you the latest news, updates, and stories from across our North Carolina veterinary practices. Each week, we’ll share important announcements, highlight achievements, and sprinkle some fun along the way.
Your work makes a difference every day, and we want to celebrate you. If you have news or stories to share, please let us know by responding to any of these emails or reaching out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
Last week, more than 110 leaders from our practices gathered at the Raleigh Convention Center for our annual Leadership Summit. Our goal: to connect, learn, empower, and grow as a system.
Take a look at the highlights from this inspiring day.
Please help us celebrate Gabby Schultz, who has officially earned her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification while serving the team at Holly Springs Veterinary Hospital!
Originally from Angier, NC, Gabby earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Central Carolina Community College and worked hard to pass the VTNE at the end of 2025. Becoming a fully licensed RVT is a huge milestone!
When she’s not learning new skills in the clinic, Gabby enjoys time with friends and family, and hanging out with her golden retriever, Cooper, and calico cat, Maple. Way to go, Gabby! We’re so excited to see your continued growth and impact as part of the Vets Pets family.

Wellness Incentive Program 2026
Vets Pets cares about you and your wellbeing, and we are continuing our Wellness Incentive Program for the upcoming plan year.
To be eligible for a premium discount in the 2027 plan year, employees and covered spouses or domestic partners must complete either an annual physical with a primary care provider or an age- and gender-appropriate preventive screening between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026. Participation is voluntary, but completion is required to receive the financial incentive. You can easily track your progress in the Healthgram portal.
Note: Vets Pets will only receive confirmation of completion, not personal health details.
If you have questions, please email humanresources@thevetspets.com
The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing a review each week from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Hinn and the team at Carolina Veterinary Dermatology. Well done!
“Went to get a definitive diagnosis for my sphynx cat. We were able to get that and a solid treatment plan. Would recommend!”
