A Veterinary Response to a Natural Disaster: NCVMA’s Role in Hurricane Helene

This session will cover the impact of Hurricane Helene on Western North Carolina, the veterinary needs that arose after the storm, and how a state veterinary medical association can collaborate with emergency officials to support both animals and people in the aftermath of a disaster.
