Dr. Katherine Rouillard, Eastern Carolina Veterinary Emergency Treatment Service (ECVETS)
We are proud to welcome Katherine Rouillard, DVM, to our team at Eastern Carolina Veterinary Emergency Treatment Service (ECVETS) in Wilson, NC. Dr. Rouillard, a Massachusetts native, received both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from NC State University and plans to make North Carolina her lifelong home.
With a love for animals from a young age, Dr. Rouillard grew up riding horses and has spent time working at a zoo. Dr. Rouillard completed a one-year rotating internship with Vets Pets in June 2019 with a strong interest in small animal emergency medicine.
Dr. Rouillard’s calming nature, excellent surgical skills, and empathetic care of both her clients and patients are a wonderful addition to ECVETS’s team. When she is not spending overnights and weekends managing emergency cases at ECVETS, Dr. Rouillard spends time with her family in Wake Forest and many hours at the barn with her beloved horse, Phoebe.
Fun Fact: Dr. Rouillard attended the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine for equine acupuncture.
