Wilson, NC (December 2, 2019) – Vets Pets, a North Carolina veterinary hospital network, is pleased to announce Gary Spodnick, DVM, DACVS, will join its growing network of veterinary professionals. Dr. Spodnick earned his veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University and started his career practicing in a large general and specialty practice outside of Boston. He completed a surgical residency program at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and was a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at North Carolina State University. He co-founded the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas and lead its surgery team for over 20 years.
Wake Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care is based in Knightdale and currently offers full-service primary care and 24-hour emergency veterinary services. With the addition of Dr. Spodnick, Wake Vet will now offer more advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical services for its patients and clients.
