I think probably the most rewarding aspect for me has been finding a group of people that share my values.
There are a lot of other practices out there, there are a lot of big corporations for example within Veterinary Medicine. Vets Pets is one that has a long term view of what success looks like in a Veterinary practice.
The entire group has a high level of integrity and it really does feel like you are part of a community.
My name is Herman Jeffer and I am a Veterinarian here at Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital, I’ve been a partner here for 3 years now.
The nice thing about Vets Pets is there truly is a community of hospitals, if I need some help with something I can reach out to anybody in that community, and get some ideas and some fresh perspective. That is one aspect of the partnership that i really enjoy. Like learning surgeries that I’ve never done before, that other doctors within the group have done, so it’s really nice to have that.
If you are interested in being a leader in your hospital. If you are interested in having a say in how things go in your hospital, and who you work with, and the kind of medicine your practice, but you also want some support from the business side of things. The bookkeeping, the marketing, the HR, all of those things are done through Vets Pets.
