Save The Date – Open Enrollment for 2026 Benefits
As we plan around year end activities, we are happy to share that our Annual Open Enrollment period for 2026 Medical and Ancillary Benefits will take place November 10-24, 2025. This is the time of the year where employees can add, remove, or change their annual elections for benefits. Once the open enrollment period closes, employees will not have the option to change their elections for the year 2026 unless they have a Qualifying Life Event. All benefit-eligible employees will need to enroll and/or waive medical and ancillary benefits to complete open enrollment for 2026. Our Benefits Guides are being finalized, and we’ll be sharing communications around our 2026 offerings soon!
We are excited to share that Vets Pets will be utilizing the Paylocity Benefits Portal for employees to make their elections. Employees will log in to Paylocity and elect or waive benefits for 2026. More information will follow on the steps necessary for a successful enrollment.
There will be several Virtual Q&A sessions set up for various dates and times throughout the period for employees to get information as well as ask questions:
- November 10, 2025, 1:00-2:00 pm
- November 13, 2025, 9:00-10:00 am
- November 20, 2025, 12:00-1:00 pm
If you have questions about your benefits, please email humanresources@thevetspets.com.

Companion Pharmacy Update
Please join us in welcoming Crystal Graham, our new Pharmacy Operations Manager. With nearly 20 years in veterinary medicine, Crystal brings deep experience and is already making a strong impact supporting our teams.
Recent highlights:
- Phone lines are open for direct calls, refills, and verbal prescriptions.
- Pricing updates: We recently moved to MAP (minimum advertised price) pricing for shoppable items like preventives, Apoquel, and Vetmedin. MAP pricing reflects what clients see on online pharmacies like Chewy. Practice pricing is being updated one by one to align.
- Technology upgrades: We’re actively working on improved payment options, new integrations, and evaluating new pharmacy software.
Thank you for supporting these updates as we continue to enhance the pharmacy experience for both clients and teams.
The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing reviews from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Foca and the team at Wendell Animal Hospital. Well done!
“Dr. Foca has been very knowledgeable and helpful with our bearded dragons! She has helped us nurse our first one back to health as she was very sick when we first got her from a pet shop out of town. We just acquired another and she was able to help us with him as well. She has a great personality! I will be going to her for all my exotic pet needs! They are reasonably priced and all the staff is warm and welcoming.“
