Welcome to the Vets Pets Weekly Update!
We’re excited to bring you the latest news, updates, and stories from across our North Carolina veterinary practices. Each week, we’ll share important announcements, highlight achievements, and sprinkle some fun along the way.
Your work makes a difference every day, and we want to celebrate you. If you have news or stories to share, please let us know by responding to any of these emails or reaching out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
Dear Team,
Our hearts are with the people and pets of Western North Carolina and beyond who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. The effects on our community are beyond words.
We are incredibly thankful to share that all our White Oak Veterinary Hospital team members are accounted for and safe. We will continue to provide our team with the support they need as we navigate this recovery together.
We are coordinating closely with the NCVMA to organize our response efforts, and we expect to have opportunities for assistance as more information becomes available. We’re also partnering with our vendors, who have generously offered food and medical supplies for pets in the hardest-hit areas.
As the situation continues to develop, we’ll provide updates on how you can get involved. In challenging times like these, we are reminded of the power of community and compassion. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted, and we are fully committed to responding with urgency and purpose to support those in need.

The veterinary profession offers both challenges and rewards. It’s crucial to pause regularly and acknowledge the positive experiences within your hospitals. We will start sharing a review each week from around the company. If you have a review you’d like to share, please respond to this email or reach out to marketing@thevetspets.com.
This week’s review acknowledges Dr. Reeves and the team at Kindred Heart Animal Hospital. Well done!
“Dr. Reeves and Emily were amazing! I have an anxious pup and they worked with her, gave her toys and treats and slowly introduced themselves which made our experience the best vet experience ever. I’m so beyond grateful!! What an amazing doctor and staff!!”
