Presented on the topic of “Challenging Toxicology Case Studies”
Dr. Erica Feiste, Medical Director at Animal Urgent Care in Fayetteville, was one of seven veterinary speakers who presented at the 7th annual Conti Symposium on Veterinary Continuing Education at the University of California at Irvine on August 4. The CE event is hosted by the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, which is the largest regional veterinary medical association in the U.S. with 1,200 members.
The theme of this year’s symposium was “Current Concepts and Controversies in Household Toxicology.” Dr. Feiste’s spoke about her extensive emergency care experience with Pentobarbital Relay Toxicosis, Aspiration Pneumonia, secondary poisoning and ingestion of poisons.
